- What does Christian Academy expect from its students, parents, and teachers?
Students – Christian Academy students are expected to strive for academic, spiritual, and social excellence. To this end, Christian Academy sets high standards for academic achievement while helping all students reach their maximum potential. At the same time, Academy students are learning from the Word of God and are challenged to put their growing faith into action in all aspects of daily life. As we nurture well-rounded, well-mannered, mission-minded children, Christian Academy is growing responsible citizens and community servants with solid Christian values.
Parents – Parents are the primary teachers of their children, and Christian Academy partners with parents in growing the whole child! Together we provide the nurturing environment necessary to foster academic, spiritual, and social excellence in well-rounded kids.
Teachers – As your partner in growing the whole child, we understand the power of example. All Christian Academy faculty and staff are believers in Jesus Christ who are growing in their faith and are connected to local churches. Like you, we believe excellent teachers are the foundation of academic excellence, so we require our background-checked teachers to be ACSI and Arizona State certified. Nearly half of Christian Academy faculty members hold a Master’s Degree or advanced certificate in their primary academic area.

Christian Academy students participate in Terra Nova, InView, and PTCS (Primary Test of Cognitive Skills) testing. Our students regularly perform in the top 25-30% nationwide on standardized tests, exceeding both state and national averages.

Christian Academy K-8 Average: 80
