Our Mission

Our Mission, in partnership with parents, is to provide a nurturing, Christ-centered educational environment that fosters academic, spiritual, and social excellence based on the truth that Christ is central to all learning and living. Our educational goals are based on Luke 2:52: “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, in favor with God and men.”

Our Commitment to Excellence

We are committed to academic, spiritual and social excellence, which can only be achieved in close partnership with parents.  Our approach is simple: “Excellence – P.A.S.S. It On”

Partnership With Parents

Parent involvement is valued and encouraged.  We expect parents and students to recognize that attending CAP is a choice and a privilege, and that student success is a shared responsibility.

Academic Excellence

We offer an academically challenging program.  We set high expectations for all students, and provide an Honors curriculum for advanced learners.  CAP test scores significantly out-perform the national average on nationally standardized tests.  For the past five years, school-wide average scores have ranked in the top 25 to 30 percent of students tested nationwide.  We view teaching as a ministry-not just a job- and are dedicated to helping all students reach their full potential.

Spiritual Excellence

We endeavor to equip students with a deep understanding of Scripture to apply in their daily lives.  Students are expected to demonstrate biblical principles of justice, mercy, peacemaking and love, and to help and pray for one another in all things.

 Social Excellence

We nurture well-rounded, well-mannered and responsible citizens.  All students take art, music, PE, and computer classes, which are important components of a comprehensive education.  We emphasize the importance of giving back to the community, and students participate in numerous service and charitable giving activities throughout the school year.

Our Statement of Faith

 Parent Testimonials

“Your daughter is such an example of Christ to her classmates.  You can definitely tell she shines Jesus.”

Comment from teacher at PHS to one of our CAP alumni.  Shared by her mother because she wanted to credit us for our part in her daughter’s spiritual growth.

In looking for a school for our son, it was important to us to have a small class size, exceptional academics, access to the arts, language and music, as well as a strong, loving spiritual base.  We found this and more at CAP!

My son has learned to hold the Word of God in his heart, growing in Christ while also growing academically.  He is excited to be here and tells me  “CAP is the best!”

~ Parent of a Kindergartener

CAP is the only school we have found that is willing to put in the extra effort to keep our daughter academically challenged. They view her talents as a gift from God, rather than a burden that creates extra work.  We have been so impressed by the commitment of the teachers, and their love for the kids they teach.
